I have lived in Brookline since 2012 and have served on the School Committee since 2014. Prior to being elected to the School Committee, I was a member of the Brookline Override Study Committee in 2013 and 2014, on which I served as chairman of the Municipal Services Subcommittee, and as a member of the School’s Subcommittee and the Population and Special Education Task Force.
I am originally from Maryland, and I am a proud graduate of the Charles County public school system. I became the first person in my family to graduate from college when I graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a degree in journalism. I obtained my law degree from American University in 2006.
I have worked as an attorney in the Office of General Counsel at Northeastern University for the past 2 years. Prior to that, I worked for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and in private practice.
My wife, Jessica Mols, is an attorney at Kids in Need of Defense, an organization that provides legal representation for unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children. Our daughter Reed (age 6) is a kindergartner at the Lincoln School and our daughter Emery (age 4) attends BEEP.
